Where do the dogs sleep at night?

All dogs sleep indoors in a cozy and secure environment. We strive to recreate the familiar sleeping arrangements that dogs have at home. Depending on your dog's preferences and what they're accustomed to, they may sleep in playpens, bedrooms, crates, or even in the living room area.

What does my dogs daily routine look like?

Dogs are let out at 7-8am for potty & play time, followed by breakfast. They go out every 2-3 hours for bathroom & outdoor playtime breaks throughout the day. Dinner is served between 7-8pm, with one last potty break between 9-10pm before bedtime. Updates are provided at least once a day, but they are not guaranteed.

What kinds of dogs are accepted?

Dogs of all breeds and sizes are embraced with care and comfort during their owners' absence! While we happily accommodate dogs of diverse temperaments, we reserve the right to decline boarding for those exhibiting aggressive behavior.

Drop-in Visits Include:

  • Feeding: Provide fresh food and water according to the cat (s) owner's instructions.
  • Litter Box Cleaning: Scoop litter boxes to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Replace litter if necessary.
  • Playtime: Engage with the cat(s) in play sessions to provide mental stimulation and exercise.
  • Cuddles and Attention: Spend quality time petting and interacting with the cat(s) to fulfill their social needs.
  • Medication Administration: Administer any necessary medications or supplements as instructed by the owner.
  • Grooming: Brushing the cat(s) to help prevent matting and reduce shedding (If cat permits it)
  • Home Security Check: Ensure all doors, windows, and other entry points are secure to maintain the safety of the home.
  • Mail and Package Collection: Bring in any mail or packages left outside the door to prevent accumulation.
  • Plant Watering: Water indoor/outdoor plants as requested by the owner to maintain their health.
  • Updates: Provide updates to the owner about the visit, including photos or videos of their cats.
  • Sweeping / General Cleaning: Disinfect and wipe down any messes kitty may have done.

Reservation / Booking Policy


1. Reservation Process:

  • Reservations can be made by phone, text, or in person.
  • We recommend making reservations in advance, especially during peak seasons, to guarantee availability.
  • Payment is due 3 days before the booking date. For last minute bookings, payment is due before drop off.

2. Booking Requirements:

  • All pets must meet our health and vaccination requirements, including up-to-date vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough).
  • Proof of vaccination must be provided at the meet and greet or through text at least a day before the booking date or a $40 fee will be added.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to pets that do not meet our health and vaccination requirements.

3. Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made 5 days prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund.

4. Check-In and Check-Out Times:

  • Check-in/ Check-out time is dictated before booking date.
  • Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability for an additional fee of $10.

5. Extended Stays:

  • For extended stays beyond the original booking period, please notify us as soon as possible to ensure availability.
  • Additional charges may apply for extended stays, depending on the duration and services requested.

Flea & Tick Policy:


1. Flea Prevention:

  • Pet owners are responsible for ensuring their pet is free from fleas and ticks before arrival.
  • All pets will undergo a visual inspection for signs of fleas or ticks. If fleas or ticks are found, the pet will be kept separated and a flee prevention bath will be done with a $50 fee.


3. Treatment Protocol:

  • If a pet is found to have fleas or ticks upon arrival, the pet owner will be notified immediately.
  • The pet will be treated with a veterinary-approved flea and tick treatment (dawn dish soap).
  • Pet(s) will be kept separate until they are free from fleas and ticks.


4. Environmental Control:

  • We maintain a clean and sanitized facility to minimize the risk of flea infestations.
  • Regular cleaning and disinfection of pet enclosures, bedding, and common areas are conducted to prevent the spread of fleas and other pests.


Late Policy:

1. Late Drop-Offs:

  • A late drop-off is defined as any arrival exceeding 15 minutes past the scheduled drop-off time without prior notice.
  • Pet owners should notify us at least 1 hour in advance if they anticipate being late for drop-off.

2. Late Pick-Ups:

  • A late pick-up is defined as any departure exceeding 15 minutes past the scheduled pick-up time without prior notice.
  • Pet owners should notify us in at lease 1 hour in advance if they anticipate being late for pick-up.

3. Late Arrival Fee:

  • A late arrival fee will be applied for drop-offs and pick-ups exceeding the designated 15-minute grace period. This fee compensates for the additional resources and staff time required to accommodate late arrivals and departures.
  • The late arrival fee is $40, plus $10 per each 30-minute increment beyond the grace period.


Behavioral Policy:

1. Evaluation Process:

  • Upon arrival, each dog will undergo a behavioral evaluation to assess their temperament, sociability, and compatibility with other dogs.
  • Dogs displaying signs of aggression, fearfulness, or other behavioral issues may be separated from the group or denied group playtime for the safety of all guests.

2. Group Play Requirements:

  • Dogs that exhibit friendly and sociable behavior may be eligible for group play sessions with other compatible dogs.
  • Group play sessions will be supervised by trained staff members to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs.

3. Individual Play and Exercise:

  • Dogs that are not suitable for group play or prefer individual attention will receive one-on-one play and exercise sessions.
  • Individual play sessions may include activities such as fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive toys, tailored to the dog's preferences and energy level.

4. Behavior Modification:

  • We are trained to use positive reinforcement techniques to address undesirable behaviors and encourage good manners in dogs.
  • Dogs displaying problematic behaviors such as excessive barking, jumping, or pulling on the leash will receive gentle correction and guidance.

5. Aggression Policy:

  • Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior towards other dogs will be separated from the group and provided with individual accommodations.
  • Aggressive behavior may include growling, snapping, lunging, or prolonged staring.
  • Pet owners will be notified immediately if their dog displays aggressive behavior, and further action may be taken depending on the severity of the behavior.
  • Dogs who exhibit aggressive behavior towards humans are not tolerated and will need to be picked up within 24 hours.

Medication Policy:

1. Medication Administration:

  • We are equipped to administer both oral topical medications, as well as injectable medications to dogs as directed by their veterinarian.
  • All medications must be provided in their original packaging, clearly labeled with the pet's name, medication name, dosage instructions, and administration schedule.
  • Medications will be administered by trained staff members according to the instructions provided by the pet owner or veterinarian.

2. Prescription Medications:

  • Prescription medications must be accompanied by a valid prescription from a licensed veterinarian.
  • Pet owners are responsible for providing an adequate supply of medications for the duration of their pet's stay, including any necessary refills or additional doses.

3. Over-the-Counter Medications:

  • Over-the-counter medications must be labeled with the pet's name and clear dosage instructions.
  • We reserve the right to refuse the administration of any medication that is not properly labeled or deemed unsafe for the pet.

4.Injectable Medications:

  • Injectable medications may be administered with a “test” run
  • Pet owners must provide detailed instructions for the administration of injectable medications, including proper dosage, injection site, and technique.

6. Emergency Medication Protocols:

  • In the event of a medical emergency requiring immediate intervention, we will administer emergency medications as directed by the pet owner or veterinarian.
  • Pet owners will be promptly notified of any emergency medication administration and provided with a detailed report of the incident.


Health & Vaccination Policy:

1. Vaccination Requirements:

  • All dogs must be up-to-date on the following vaccinations:

Rabies

Distemper

Bordetella (kennel cough)

  • Proof of vaccination must be provided at the meet and greet or at least a day before the booking date to avoid late fees.
  • Puppies must have completed their initial vaccination series, including booster shots, before being admitted for boarding.

2. Health Check:

  • All pets will undergo a health check upon arrival to ensure they are in good physical condition and free from contagious illnesses.
  • Pets showing signs of illness, including but not limited to coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, or lethargy, may be denied boarding to prevent the spread of illness to other guests.

3. Flea and Tick Prevention:

  • Pets found to have fleas or ticks upon arrival will be treated at the owner's expense before being admitted for boarding.

4. Medication Administration:

  • If your pet requires medication during their stay, please provide detailed instructions and the medication in its original packaging.
  • Our staff is trained to administer oral medications as directed by pet owners. Injectable medications may be administered.
  • Pet owners must sign a health declaration confirming that their pet is in good health, free from contagious illnesses, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
  • Any changes in your pet's health or vaccination status must be reported to us at least 1 day before their stay or a $40 fee will be added.
